WHY would rockstar ban anyone?
Does that cheat service let you cheat online?
Oh, if so then ok.
If its only for cheating OFFLINE in singleplayer mode then who really cares.
You going to shame someone for enjoying playing a game the way they want to play it?

Not everyone is a perfect esports player. Some play slow, some arent good enough to finish the hard bosses, some just want to enjoy it without the fear of death or running out of ammo at that crutial time.
ITS A GAME, GAMES ARE MEANT TO BE FUN.
So let people enjoy their gaming however they want to play.

If its online and multiplayer then it all depends on the dheats. A money cheat to own more cars and houses? That doesnt ruin anyone elses gaking experience so go for it.
If its a god mode or precision cheat then yea ban their ass for life.

It all depends if the cheat is for your benifit only or interfears with others experience.
Cheeating so you can buy more clothing isnt a worry at all. Let them do it.

Anyone that cheats in any multiplayer game to kill easier and win should be banned instantly for life so it all comes down to what cheats does this service let you have and they should get punished accordingly.

GTA V contains GTA Online, which is absolutely the meat and potatoes of the game. The single player campaign is fine, but the billions of dollars come from the online side, which is co-op multiplayer and PvP (occasionally simultaneously). The co-op missions are to me the highlight.

So yes, these are nasty cheats that really do affect the online experience. It's not competitive and there aren't leagues or anything, but some of those cheats probably are money cheats and Rockstar wants to sell their Shark Cards (ie, in-game currency) I'm sure.

GTA Online was always chaotic, you could ride along in your cool car and it started raining Boeing 747s (which, it turns out, is normal for Boeings, but I digress).

So yeah, I'm sure Rockstar will ben, and I'm not opposed to it tbh.

I agree that bans for purely single player is horseshit. I myself cheat in single player games (money cheats, at the very least, in games that have in-world grind).
