wild, why would anyone want to change the sound? look at hx review for example, 5/5 for sound! Wow, picky people out there eh? Now all they need is a overall texture pack addon to replace the garbage in the game.

I am glad this came out, because I think Trent could have done better. I loved the sounds and music in quake. It pissed me off to no end when I found our that Trent wasn't going to do the sound after all.

I've tested this mod, but i can't really tell the difference.I mean, sure, the shotgun is pretty boomy, and the pistol is more powerful, but the overall differences are pretty small.

ok, and another question: when played with "surround speakers", the Subwoofer channel acts like a regular satelite channel (you can hear mid-highs on it (!!!!)). Anyone experienced this ? I have the Audigy2 Rolling Eyes
