A bug free game would do me over a stupid free mission.... ArmA2 -just like ArmA 1 (call it an expansion shall we? Just like Queen's Gambit) is riddled with the SAME utter show stopping bugs that killed ArmA1 (Scripts not triggering,missions not ending, AI NOT getting into vehicles when told, support not working when radioed etc) If Dragon Rising even WORKS, it will be a success over Bohemia's dire effort!
I still find myself playing OFP because nothing since has ever matched it's immersive campaign and mission structure replayability. Maybe because it doesn't blind itself with too much emphasis on terrain,shadows and lighting and more on good old' fashioned gameplay?
What ever, i'll wait for a demo on this (Dragon Rising) first. |
