When Asus first came out they were good. Then they mustve made a deal with chinese crap and went that way, crap.
I used to like them but the quality kept dropping.

So, when I heard of the Asus rog aly I was 'really? this isn't going to be good'
and I was right. All the faults and mad design, yep thats Asus for ya.
Its got potential but poor execution. Parts in the wrong places and having problems like the SD card overheating and dying, button layout so its not comfortable, and all the other problems its got and many I dont know about.

So when they announced this X version I thought they might've mixed all their mistakes. Maybe, but its still Asus so I still wont get it.

Even Lenovo aren't a good brand but they are better than Asus. They are newer and known for being cheaper than Asus but over the years and using better hardware they have now got a good reputation of some good competition at a cheaper price.
Well, thats my opinion of them but its been a long while since I've had to deal with them and my knowledge of them isn't that good over the last few years.

So the Lenovo Legion Go is my handheld console I would go to if I needed to replace my Steam deck but I would still get a Steam Deck OLED before I get a Legion Go.
The Rog Ally X is still a no buy for me. Its the Asus name thats broken it and the history of the console so far. Its not good.
The only way I would think of getting one is half or quarter the price and many confirmations its all fixed and no problems. And in black.
