GamesIndustry.biz, Microsoft Game Studios Europe Business Development Manager Peter Zetterberg has made some interesting comments about how PC and Xbox 360 games fit into Microsoft\'s business plan:

bloody idiots like those that help bring about shitty xblock games.
i think blizzard interview http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/blizzard-s-paul-sams
is only one to really agree with... and he's bloody right when he says microsoft need to pull the finger and start doing something on the windows platform to improve gaming on the pc.. so bloody much they could do like http://www.playxpert.com/web/guest/product or improving alt-tab performace, better directx features...instead they are leaving it for other developers to do while they piss around trying to cash in on the block.
so pc gaming is getting killed off its because of Microsoft are killing gaming on the pc in favour of cashing in more of shity noobifed console games and sales. |

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU GUYS!
Freaking MS assholes, there're some places where the consoles never going to have an strong penetration. For example, remember what the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. says about why they're working on a PC exclusive title?
Russia is 98 percent PC still; Germany has a big piece of the market. There is a lot of piracy, but people are still buying games: with our game, they really were. I've seen people on the internet, and someone is saying, "I've just downloaded S.T.A.L.K.E.R.!" Someone else will say, "Hey, these are local guys - support them and buy it." Then the first person will say, "I just wanted to take a look - I will buy it! I will buy it!"
This was an example of a company who thinks for themselves and for the market.
Q: So you're admitting that the Xbox 360 is the priority, because you don't want to lose console sales.
Peter Zetterberg: No, they're equally important.
Did they even listen to themselves? If this guy was Pinochio the tip of his nose can be found on the moon...
The guys of MS want to force a market with they crapy XBOXofsh*t
I'm sick of this corporate bullsh*t, the onlyones who end up damaged here are the consumers, us. |
